Protein Power Bites
These protein power bites are not only quick and easy to make, they also taste delicious! I got the idea while at the farmer’s market and saw Date Almond Rolls for sale at the fruit and nut stand. Since I have made larabars at home before, I knew I could easily make these. To kick them up a notch, I added in Whole30 approved Naked protein powder.
These bites also make macro counting a breeze! Each bite’s macronutrient count is below and since the ingredients are whole foods and simple, the fats are all good fats!

Whole30 Protein Power Bites
Makes about 25 bites and takes about 10 minutes start to finish.
Ingredients:
1 lb pitted dates
1 cup almonds
4 scoops Naked Protein (I used pea but you can use any flavour you like, you can’t taste it in the bites)
1 cup unsweetened coconut
To Make:
- In a food processor, chop the coconut into small flakes. Set aside.
- Place the almonds, dates, and protein powder into food processor and combine until it forms a crumble that will stick together when formed into a ball, about 2 min.
- Pour out date mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and form balls. Once balls are formed coat and press the shredded coconut mixture onto balls.
- Store in an airtight container. These will last about a week outside of fridge or you can store in fridge and serve chilled for up to 2 weeks.
